Manjinder Kaur, DO
Director of the Medical Weight Management Program
Dr. Manjinder Kaur is the Director of the Medical Weight Management Program. She is a board-certified endocrinologist and a diplomate of American board of Obesity medicine. She is dedicated to the specific treatment of obesity and endocrine disorders including diabetes, metabolic syndrome, pituitary disease, thyroid, parathyroid, PCOS and adrenal disorders.
She finished her internal medicine residency and fellowship in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism at the University Hospital Cincinnati. She is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, The Endocrine Society and The Obesity Society.
Michael Koren, MD
Dr. Michael Koren is a board-certified endocrinologist by the American Board of Internal Medicine (Endocrinology) and is a American Board of Obesity Medicine Diplomat. He trained at the University of Washington and is dedicated to the treatment and management of endocrine disorders. General conditions he treats include type 1 and 2 diabetes, thyroid diseases, pituitary and adrenal conditions. His specialty areas of interest include the diagnosis and management of diabetes and hyperthyroidism. Dr. Koren’s additional procedural areas of focus include insulin pump management and continues glucose monitor management and oversight.
Nancy Azar, MS, RDN, LD
Nancy Azar serves as the dietitian through the Bariatric and Heartburn Center, Western Reserve Hospital and through the Department of Endocrinology, Hudson Specialty Center. She has experience in weight loss and weight management, adult obesity, bariatric surgery (before and after care), cardiovascular health, metabolic syndrome, Renal, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, diabetes, GERD, and general wellness. Azar holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Akron. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Nancy has spoken at conferences, workshops, and luncheons to educate on diet and nutrition.
Rachael Guido, RN
Rachael Guido is a registered nurse serving patients alongside board certified physicians. She earned her Associate's Degree in Medical and Clinical Assitance as well as her Associate's degree in Nursing from Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland.
Susan Iannicca, CNP, RD, CDE
Susan Iannicca serves as a certified nurse practitioner, diabetes educator and dietitian through the Department of Endocrinology, Hudson Specialty Center. She has experience as a renal dietitian for Center for Disease Control dialysis centers to serve patients who need nutrition counseling. Iannicca holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Notre Dame College of Ohio, a Master of Science in Nutrition/Dietetic Internship from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine/Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center and a Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner from State University of New York at Stony Brook. She has formerly served at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Intensive Diabetes Management Clinic treating patients with diabetes and has spoken at symposiums, conferences, workshops and luncheons to educate on diet and nutrition and corresponding disorders relative to obesity and diabetes.
